I personally was the recipient of a bone marrow transplant and as no one in my family was a match, we were fortunate enough to find one off the donor registry. Obviously, I will never be able to return the favor and donate my marrow to anyone else, but I absolutely know first hand that everyone who does is a HUGE hero. Great post.
