i’ve given up on mankind

Hello, my readers.  I’ve seen a lot shit in my life.  A lot of stuff that you couldn’t take any other way but personally.  And somehow, I’ve trudged through that shit without letting it get to me too much.   Yes, I’ve grown increasingly cynical over the years but I’ve maintained, in general, a positive attitude.  Today, I changed my mind.  If someone can screw you, they will.

Andy Dufresne may have crawled through a river of shit and came out clean on the other side but the mudphudder just smells like shit

You see, today someone tried to extort money from the mudphudder–demanding more money for service the mudphudder already paid for, otherwise threatening to destroy the product, which is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing.   And no, I’m not talking about a prostitute, so don’t even ask.

I find extortion to be a deeply personal offense.  As someone who’s life is dedicated to helping people when they are vulnerable, it is particularly offensive to me when someone uses my vulnerability as leverage.  Again, I am not talking about a prostitute.

In any case, it may come down to the mudphudder having to sue the motherfucker.  I’m disappointed about that possibility because this was someone in whom I had confidence.  Sigh.  You can’t trust anyone.  Part of it is the economy and people trying to do anything they can to steal a buck or two (or hundreds) from anyone available.

Yes, I’m being vague about the specifics, but I just don’t want to get into for now.  I apologize.  It’s not very nice to dump these non-specifics on you, but there you have it–even the mudphudder is a jerk.  But, I will at least try to make it up with another reader appreciation haiku soon rather than make you pay me a few hundred dollars to stop.

Clearly you are emotionally charged over this unfortunate situation, but to adopt a ‘I’ve given up on mankind’ attitude will only become a liability for you in your daily life. Acknowledge that it’s an unfortunate circumstance, deal with it logically and accept the outcome.

Ugh. If it helps, you still smell sweet in the blog world- not the slightest whiff of crap.

Tell the offender - this cat is a bad Mudder-phudder. Shut your mouth! But seriously, hope you’re able to come out on top of this raw deal.

Thanks for your support. It’s been a crummy situation but hopefully it will work out. Sometimes it boggles the mind what people try to get away with… Anyway, I appreciate your kind comments.
