mudphudder update
The state of the mudphudder is very tired. Residency interview in San Diego on Friday, in L.A. on Saturday and fighting L.A./San Diego traffic the whole time. I had heard about L.A. traffic and seen it on T.V. but never fully appreciated how bad the traffic is in L.A. until I drove through it. Really traffic was miserable from northern San Diego all the way to L.A, a distance of ~100 highway miles that took me 3 hours to drive. I’m not sure why there are 65 mph speed limit signs up because it is hard to move faster than a crawl. Anyway, I had a couple of good interviews–liked both places–and am now back on the road headed to Seattle. Again needed an hour to get out of L.A., but have had a good time since. I’m crashing for the night in Santa Nella, California. I just can’t drive up the west coast and not see the ocean–and hope to cross over to the coast tomorrow during the day. I’ll to post some pictures from the road tomorrow…
