busy busy
I hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for a nice Thanksgiving. For those of you who have to work on Thanksgiving, I know it’s a real bummer. I may be working in the ER on Thanksgiving too. It’s a busy time of year. 4th year medical students are running around on the interview trail and everyone else has to deal with the typical issues of the holidays–planning trips around an already busy schedule, not to mention dealing with the cold weather–by the way, what happened last week? Is it just me or the did the whole northern hemisphere get about 20 degrees colder? I was traveling on residency interviews and got nailed by windchills in the teens. Note to others traveling around for conferences and/or interviews, etc: take gloves and a hat.
Anyway, in some good news, I had a manuscript accepted for publication today–very excited about that (!!!). For better or for worse, I have about 5 more at various stages of completion that need to get done in the next 2 months. We’ll see how it goes… For now that’s about it–just putting my nose to the grindstone to get some of this work done!
